In September 2023, I joined the Milan-based newspaper Linkiesta, working specifically within its publishing house and design studio of the same name, now known as Studio Franco. When I joined, I was the only in-house designer, working under the art direction of the design studio Paper Paper, led by Giovanni Cavalleri and Cecilia Bianchini.

Alongside a variety of projects — primarily editorial work and visual communication for events organised by Linkiesta and its vertical publications, particularly Gastronomika and Greenkiesta — I also began designing and laying out Linkiesta Magazine, the newspaper’s quarterly publication, originally developed in collaboration with the The New York Times.

What initially began as editorial layout work gradually evolved into a broader involvement in editorial design. Following the arrival of a new art director, I had the opportunity to develop new layout systems and visual approaches, becoming increasingly engaged in the conception and design of the publication itself.
