Knockout Specimen

For this single project, I was asked to produce the Specimen of a typeface, in my case the Knockout. Black and white, closed format, sixteen pages on which all the characteristics and potential uses of a typeface were to be shown, a sort of "manual" for a designer about how to use it. I delved into the expansion and condensing qualities of the typeface, which lends itself well to a newspaper ad: its potential is that short words can in fact expand on the same scale as a medium-length sentenc in a more condensed weight.
