Work: digital project: creation of a transmedia artifact
Course: Sociology of Media

The project stems from Italo Calvino's fairy tale, Assassino senza mano, from Fiabe Italiane. The requirement of the course was to create a transmedia translation of the fairy tale into a new communicative artefact. The aim was not to reproduce the story as it is in a new communicative artefact, but to choose just one aspect of the fairy tale and generate a new artefact. So MessApp was born, a webApp which, by putting two or more players in dialogue and making them play, makes them reflect on the problem of incommunicability through an algorithm in which one player has to make another player guess a word while the algorithm will change the sentences typed.
