In the one week workshop with SVP & Chief Design Officer at PepsiCo, Mauro Porcini, we were asked to create a new product for the Pepsico brand. The idea that led us to win the workshop is called Message in a Pepsi, which is meant to recall the concept of Message in a bottle, the one sent by sailors and left to sail in the sea. The idea was to create a configurable and eco-sustainable product designed for long-distance couples: at the airport, thanks to a vending machine, the couple that is about to separate can take photos and write a message that will end up in the bottom of the personalised bottle for their partner. The idea is to create a product that will not be thrown away, but will be kept as a sign of your partner's love when you live apart.
