Between April and July 2021, I did my curricular internship at the design studio Pitis e Associati. The main client I had the pleasure of working for was Wired Italia (directed by Federico Ferrazza), and in particular the print magazine. Starting from the theme of issue 97 and through issue 98, together with editorial designer Matteo Benetti and under the guidance of art director Massimo Pitis, we chose the entire graphic layout: the magazine in fact has the peculiarity of completely changing its graphic layout for each issue according to the theme. After setting up the layout, my job in particular was to read the issue and propose to the editorial staff, for each article, an illustration or photograph appropriate for the opening pages of the article. I then carried out a search for contemporary artists/illustrators/photographers and in some cases commissioned works directly from the artists, as can be seen in the following photos in the article on conspiracy history with cartoons by illustrator Marco scuto.
